In 2013, Meredith Borowiec was convicted of infanticide — a lesser charge than the two counts of murder she originally faced. The CBC's Meghan Grant is in Ottawa covering the story and will bring updates as they come.
Canmore is giving the green light to future development at the Peaks of Grassi after a lengthy battle between the community and developers. The town will rezone the urban reserve to build affordable housing.
