Calgary man's suspicious death prompts police to seek public input
John Thomas Pollock, 44, found dead inside his southeast home
Calgary police are asking for help from the public as they investigate a suspicious death that happened earlier this week.
Officers found 44-year-old John Thomas Pollock dead inside his home in southeast Calgary Monday afternoon at about 2:45 p.m. MT.
Relatives had asked police to go to the home in the 200 block of Heritage Drive S.E to check on Pollock’s welfare because he hadn’t been heard from in several days.
At first the scene didn’t appear suspicious, police said. But an autopsy completed on Tuesday ruled the death as undetermined.
Investigators are trying to piece together Pollock’s movements in the days leading up to his death.
He was last seen by his neighbours in the apartment building at about 8 p.m. MT last Friday.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
