Calgary police are looking for a man who snatched a woman's phone and then made her take money out of a bank machine before he would give it back.
The woman was getting off a southbound LRT at the Southland station on Jan. 1 when the culprit walked past her and grabbed the cellphone, police said in a release.
The woman chased after the man and demanded he give it back.
He told her she would have to pay him, police say.
The two then walked to a nearby bank machine, where she took out cash and gave it to the man.
He then returned the woman's phone and fled, police say.
The man was white, wearing a black jacket, a black hat with a white logo, and sunglasses.
He had on dark pants and light brown boots.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call police or contact Crime Stoppers.
