Calgary climber recovered from Goat Mountain
Woman likely fell 120 metres, RCMP say
Canmore RCMP recovered a woman's body Wednesday morning on Goat Mountain, just west of Calgary.
Officials were called late Tuesday night after the climber didn't return from the area near Mount Yamnuska.
Kananaskis Emergency Services did an aerial search at first light, finding her body on the mountain’s east face.
The 45-year-old Calgary woman likely fell about 120 metres, RCMP said.
Her name has not been released.
