Non-life-threatening injuries after 4-year-old and 5-year-old fall to a deck below
Two Calgary boys have been sent to hospital after falling 12 feet from the second storey of a home in the southeast community of Mahogany, paramedics said in a release Friday.
A four-year-old and a five-year-old managed to push their way through a screen at a home in the 100 block of Mahogany Square S.E. just before 6:30 p.m.
They landed on a deck below.
The five-year-old has possible head and shoulder injuries that are considered non-life-threatening and the four-year-old has minor soft tissue injuries, EMS said.
Paramedics are warning parents of the dangers to having windows too easily accessible to children.
