After a brutally cold winter, Calgarians are getting a long-awaited break with sunshine and warm weather.

With temperature hovering at 6 C, Sunday is expected to be warmer than what the city has seen in some time. However, it's going to be one of the 'coldest' days of the week.

On Monday, Environment Canada is forecasting a high of 17 C and then 19 C on Tuesday.

Temperatures will dip down to 9 C on Wednesday and then will go back up to 11 C on Thursday and 13 C on Friday and Saturday.

How are you celebrating the warm weather today? Send your shots to calgaryphotos@cbc.ca or tweet us @CBCCalgary.

Robin
