Andrew Holloway has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a woman in an alley after following her from the Brentwood LRT station.

In an agreed statement of facts, Holloway admitted to following the woman on Brentwood Road N.W. and Blackiston Drive N.W. on Dec. 26, 2014.

He grabbed the woman by her arm and and pulled her into an alley and told her to perform oral sex.

Holloway threw her to the ground and punched her in the face three times. He told the woman to stop screaming and that he had killed people before.

The woman managed to kick Holloway in the groin and knocked him away and he ran off.

Holloway was arrested in the Cochrane area on Dec. 31.

His lawyer, Alain Hepner, says the judge has ordered a psychiatric report to assess Holloway's risk in the community.

"And because he's been in jail for over a year, the equivalent of 19 months, the Crown and I agree that he should be released to the community back home to Morley where he will be under strict conditions," said Hepner.

Hepner says they will be back in court on June 9 for the final sentencing submissions.
