Police are investigating after a body was discovered in the northeast Calgary community of Tuxedo Park Monday morning.
The death appears to be suspicious in nature, according to police.
The body was found in a vehicle in the 100 block of 28th Avenue N.E.
It is the same block where police received reports of shots being fired late Sunday night.
Police did find a gun on a lawn during that investigation.
No one was in the house, but police say they found blood all over the walls.
"We are living inner city, but that's the last thing you want in your neighbourhood," said Brent Kirschner, who lives across the street.
"So it's always been very quiet and we always feel safe here, but it is quite shocking for sure."
Calgary police have not confirmed whether there is any link between the two incidents, but search crews were brought in to comb through garbage bins, garages and backyards in the area.
