Police are investigating the death of a 58-year-old man believed to be working in a house under construction in northwest Calgary.

A developer found the body of Anto Slisko Thursday at about 6 p.m. as the homeowners were being given a tour of the house being built in the community of Panorama.

It is believed Slisko was a painter working in the house, police said.

The medical examiner conducted an autopsy on Friday.

The cause of death hasn't been released.

Homicide detectives are still investigating.
