Police are investigating after a hit and run Thursday morning in the Beltline that sent a man in his 20s to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A man was hit by someone driving a dark-coloured sedan on Fourth Street and 15th Avenue S.W. around 9:30 a.m. MT.
According to witnesses there was a verbal altercation between the occupants of the sedan and a group of men walking down the street.
The sedan reportedly struck the victim shortly after, then the driver fled the scene.
The victim remains in critical condition in the hospital.
