The Banff World Media Festival gets underway this week, drawing media professionals from around the world for networking and educational sessions.
The festival, which runs until June 12, will see guests including Arrested Development star Will Arnett, Late Late Show host Craig Ferguson and actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
More than 150 media development executives and a cross-section of television and digital media professionals will also be in the mountain town.
For more than 30 years the festival has brought top leaders from the evolving media landscape to the Canadian Rockies with the goal of launching new business and professional partnerships.
One of the attractions is the Banff World Media Awards, affectionately known as the Rockies, which recognize international excellence in media production.
Attendees will have the chance to attend workshops on pitching to producers, integrating brands into content and social advertising.
Representatives from YouTube, Netflix and eOne Entertainment will also lead information sessions for attendees.
