Airdrie hit-and-run leaves cyclist injured, police hunt for car
Collision happened on Big Springs Drive Sunday night
A cyclist is hurt following a hit-and-run in Airdrie that has RCMP officers looking for the driver of a teal-coloured car.
A male cyclist was taken to a Calgary hospital with injuries to his leg, torso and teeth at about 7:15 p.m. on Sunday.
The collision happened on Big Springs Drive near Spring Haven Court.
"A teal coloured 4 door car with a male driver was proceeding westbound on Big Springs Drive and struck a cyclist. The vehicle did not stop and continued westbound," RCMP said in a press release.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Airdrie RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
