Calgary police are investigating the death of a seven-month-old child.
Police were called to the 3600 block of 28th Avenue S.E. just after midnight Wednesday.
Investigators found the dead child when they arrived.
Duty Insp. Terry Larson says police still don't know the cause.
"Not necessarily suspicious — just unexplained," Larson said. "So we just want to make sure that we cover all the bases."
The medical examiner and the major crimes unit are investigating.
Family members, including the child's parents, are being interviewed.
