RCMP are asking for the public's help after a second incident this month in which a Fas Gas employee was attacked during a robbery.

On September 20 at roughly 8 p.m. M.T., Okotoks RCMP responded to a complaint of robbery at the Fas Gas on Northridge Drive in Okotoks.

A man driving a black pickup truck pulled in to the gas pumps and filled his vehicle with fuel. He then wandered throughout the store before stabbing the gas clerk, who was behind a counter, once in the abdomen.

The suspect then fled the scene in his vehicle, heading westbound. He is described as a 25- to 30-year-old white male with a medium build. He has dark curly hair, a short, full face beard and stands roughly five feet, eight inches. He was wearing a brown hoodie and the vehicle is described as a black pickup truck, possibly a Chevrolet Sierra.

The victim was transported to Foothills Hospital for treatment.

Police say a gold car left the Fas Gas at about 7:50 p.m., heading southbound on Northridge Drive.

Police are asking the driver of this vehicle and anyone who was at the Fas Gas between 7:30 and 8 p.m. to contact Okotoks RCMP.
