Calgary police have two suspects in custody after a man was severely assaulted Sunday morning at a northwest LRT station.

The 30-year-old victim was attacked at the Crowfoot C-Train station shortly after 11 a.m. MT, police said.

He was taken to hospital in serious condition.

Police and Calgary Transit security officers worked together to track down the two suspects, Duty Insp. Guy Baker said.

Investigators believe it was a targeted attack.

Police are interviewing several witnesses.
