2 hurt after car hits Ranchlands Medical Centre
Car drove through the windows of the northwest medical office
Two people are in hospital after a car drove through the windows of a medical office in the Calgary neighbourhood of Ranchlands.
The car hit the Ranchlands Medical Centre on Ranchview Dr N.W. on Tuesday at about 12 p.m. MT.
A two-year-old boy and a woman in her 60s – who were inside the building – are both in stable, non-life threatening condition, according to fire department spokeswoman Carol Henke.
The driver is believed to be uninjured.
"The driver for some reason pressed the gas instead of the brake and she drove into the waiting area of the medical clinic," Henke said. "The vehicle went a fair ways in. It appeared there was no structural damage because she went through the window."
