A West Vancouver hockey dad has been charged with assaulting another parent after an alleged fight at a minor hockey game in March.  

Christian Patrick Jarvis, 45, of West Vancouver will appear in court on Wednesday to face an assault charge. 

Officers were called to the Hollyburn Country Club after the fight allegedly broke out in the viewing area at a game between the Hollyburn Huskies and Semiahmoo Ravens.

Witnesses told police two men were watching the game when one man grabbed the other. 

A 67-year-old Langley man had minor bruising and soreness.
