Cloudy, drizzly start to Vancouver's Thursday will give way to some sunny breaks by the afternoon.

Showers will start Thursday off for Vancouver

Low clouds and lingering showers will kick off Thursday across the South Coast.

In fact, it may take until the afternoon to start seeing some breaks in the clouds.

Afternoon highs should get up to a seasonal 7 C for Vancouver.

No major storms are in the forecast for B.C. Thursday or Friday, but a few showers may sneak through to Vancouver Friday afternoon.

But don't get too use to the drier weather — the pattern turns stormy again for the weekend.

Vancouver could be in for a wet and windy Saturday through to at least Monday.
