Wagstaffe's Weather: Rain is back for Wednesday

A new Pacific rain-maker is rolling into Metro Vancouver for Wednesday, bringing stormy and cool weather for the next couple of days.

Snow on local mountains is the silver lining

Our brief break from the steady rain has come to a quick end, thanks to a Pacific storm system.

Rain will fill-in early for the Wednesday morning commute, and will continue through the day.

Watch for gusty winds by the water to ramp up towards the evening.

Cooler temperatures will keep Vancouver's afternoon high around 9 C — but the cool-down will mean more snow on the local mountains.

Rounds of showers will continue for Thursday, with the cooler air in place. Sunshine will return for Friday.
