Wagstaffe's Weather: A nice Thursday ahead for Vancouver

Metro Vancouver gets one more mild and sunny day on Thursday before a Pacific system moves in for Friday afternoon.

One more nice day for Vancouver

Our high-pressure system has done a great job of protecting the South Coast from showers over the past couple of days — but Thursday will be the last day.

Morning clouds will clear out for a sunny afternoon across Vancouver. And although morning temperatures will get down to a chilly 2 C, they should warm back up to 10 C by the afternoon — even warmer inland.

We keep some sunshine for Friday morning, but increasing clouds will be followed by showers after the noon hour.

Steady rain continues for much of Saturday, although a late-day break is not out of the question. And it's showers for Sunday.

High snow levels, I'm afraid, for the local mountains this Friday, but we should get some mountain snow back with the weekend weather.
