Wagstaffe's Weather: A mixed bag for Tuesday

Unsettled weather will stick around for Tuesday but there is a much better chance of afternoon sunny breaks as a little high pressure system builds in.

Mainly cloudy but some sunny breaks possible

It's a cloudy start to Tuesday for the South Coast but by the end of the day we may see some sunny breaks.

High pressure is attempting to build in for Tuesday afternoon, so although there is still a risk for an isolated shower, it's not as dreary as our Monday.

Temperatures will be slightly cooler on Tuesday as well. A cold front is pushing westward across the province and will help to drop freezing levels enough for things to fall as snow for the local mountains over the next few days.

The break from the steady rain will continue through to Wednesday morning before a bigger Pacific storm moves in. It's a wet looking Wednesday afternoon and Thursday.

Sun looks to return for Friday.
