Tablets, laptops and e-readers are now on many students' lists
A recent Bank of Montreal survey says Canadian parents expect to spend on average $428 per child on back-to-school supplies — a figure that includes clothes, and technology.
Kids in elementary schools are even trading in their books for e-readers, and seeking out tablets or laptops in order to do online research, the CBC's Negar Mojtahedi reports.
