Victoria Police seek witnesses to possible James Bay sexual assaults

Police in Victoria say two teenage girls may have been sexually assaulted while attending a social event in the James Bay area the night of Feb. 19.

Victoria police say two teenage girls may have been sexually assaulted while attending a social event in the James Bay area the night of Feb. 19. 

Const. Matt Rutherford says officers weren't notified of the incident until last Tuesday. 

He says police are looking to speak with anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity near Dock Street and MacDonald Park between 10 and 11:15 p.m. last Friday, Feb. 19.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Victoria Police non-emergency line at 250-995-7654.
