Surrey homicide victim identified by police

Police have identified the body of a male homicide victim found yesterday in the 12300 block of Colebrook Road in Surrey as Jaskaran Singh Sandhu, 26, a resident of the Lower Mainland.

Police have identified the body of a male homicide victim found yesterday in the 12300 block of Colebrook Road in Surrey as Jaskaran Singh Sandhu, 26, a resident of the Lower Mainland. 

"Mr. Sandhu was known to police and the victim of a targeted attack.  Investigators continue to search for the motive behind his killing including the possibility of being gang related." said Cpl. Adam MacIntosh in statement released on Tuesday.

Investigators remain at the scene on Colebrook Road, said MacIntosh.
