Victoria drive-by shooting suspect arrested

Victoria police have arrested a suspect in Monday morning's drive-by shooting outside a Victoria nightclub.
Dennis Grant Fletcher, 23, was arrested early this morning in Victoria without incident.
Both Fletcher and his alleged accomplice Whitney Furber have been charged with attempted murder.
The shooting outside Club 9one9 in the Strathcona Hotel left a bouncer with leg injuries. He was treated in hospital and later released.
Police now allege Fletcher fired shots at a police cruiser as he was being pursued after the shooting.
"We've had officers out scouring the area looking for evidence but we haven't found any bullet casings or anything like that," said Const. Mike Russell.
"The trajectory from the vehicle, the suspect vehicle, certainly leads us to believe that he was shooting at our officers."
