Woman killed in Abbotsford hit and run

Police say they now have evidence that a woman whose body was found on a roadside in Abbotsford was the victim of a hit and run.
The body of a 34-year-old South Asian woman was found Monday morning by a passing driver on Riverside Road.
Const. Ian MacDonald says an autopsy has revealed that the woman suffered massive trauma to her torso.
"Her injuries were severe and consistent with being struck by a vehicle, which is several thousand pounds, versus a person just over a 100 pounds," MacDonald said.
MacDonald said police are looking for any witnesses.
The woman may have been struck as early as Friday of last week, and it’s still unclear whether she was killed on impact or died afterwards.
