Another new spin on an old political tradition

B.C. Finance Minister Mike de Jong put a new spin on a well-worn yearly media photo-op on Monday.
It’s traditional for finance ministers in Canada to buy new shoes on the day before they announce the annual budget.
As the CBC’s Bob Nixon reports, there have been many variations on the theme over the years, but de Jong put them all on ice.
