Hundreds of flights were cancelled at Peason Airport in Toronto on Friday because of a snowstorm. (CBC)About a dozen flights to and from Toronto have been cancelled or delayed at Vancouver International Airport because of a severe snowstorm hitting eastern Canada Friday.
After more than 20 centimetres of snow fell on the Toronto region, more than 800 incoming and outgoing flights at Pearson Airport were cancelled.
Travellers are advised to check the status of their flights before heading to the airport.
