Rare guitar stolen in Vancouver

The theft of a what's described as a rare electric guitar has prompted a public appeal for help from Vancouver police.
The Epiphone guitar — which was won as a door prize at the Juno Awards — was stolen on Dec. 19 in a break-in at a residence in the 2200-block of West 14th Avenue, police said Tuesday.
The prize was won by a woman who attended the Canadian music awards show, which was held in Vancouver in 2009.
Anyone who has information that might help retrieve the stolen guitar is asked to call their local police or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
