Mounties in Masset, B.C., have busted an alleged drug trafficking ring they say was operated by four members of the same family.
Police executed a search warrant at a house in Old Masset believed to be associated with drug trafficking on Wednesday night.
Inside the home, officers found prepackaged cocaine powder, crack cocaine, more than $6,500 in cash, drug trafficking paraphernalia and a gun. The drugs seized have an estimated street value of over $4,200.
Five people at the house were arrested and taken into custody. One person was released later that night.
Robert Davis Sr., 49, Roxanne Davis, 44, Adam Davis, 23, and Robert Davis Jr.,18, have all been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
On Friday, Masset RCMP tweeted that all four suspects were released from custody under the conditions that they keep the peace, stay away from firearms, and make reports to bail supervisors.
Masset RCMP said that it had asked the judge, who was operating remotely out of the Burnaby Justice Centre, for stricter conditions, including daily curfews, random searches, and a ban on using cellphones.
