High-tech car safety devices test on B.C. taxis

Car safety technology is getting very sophisticated, but some of the best gizmos still are available only on high-end vehicles.
ICBC wants to see how well they work, in the expectation that the high-tech devices will come into the mainstream.
For starters, the corporation plans to equip some Metro Vancouver taxis with so-called "Forward Crash Avoidance Technology Units."
