Getting the right New year's Eve plan in place can be stressful, and more and more people seem to be opting out of glitz-and-glam events in favour of spending quiet nights at home.
The fact that Vancouver doesn't have any big public party planned might also have something to do with the tamer plans being made this end-of-year, the CBC's Meera Bains reports.
