More than 100 charges have been laid against four people on Vancouver Island after police uncovered a slew of stolen items including iPods, jewelry and personal documents.
The charges come after police executed search warrants on the homes of what they called two well-known, prolific offenders.
Officers found laptop computers, iPods, GPS devices, digital cameras, cell phones, wallets, purses, identification, personal documents, jewelry, keys, sunglasses, and other items.
Police believe the items were stolen from homes and cars throughout southern Vancouver Island.
Police say much of the stolen property has been returned.
Derek Ernest Fast, 26, is facing 46 charges including break and enter, theft, possession of stolen property and use of a stolen credit card. He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 13.
Robert Joseph Iverson, 34, has been charged with 28 counts including theft and possession of stolen property. He is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 20.
A woman believed to be Fast’s girlfriend, Tannya Kathleen Barnes, 27, is facing 28 charges in including possession of stolen property and offences related to the possession of a firearm. She is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 19.
Iverson’s purported girlfriend, Jennifer Priscilla Hermans, 33, has been charged with four counts of possession of stolen property and four counts of breach of probation. She is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 3.
