Skier in critical condition after accident

A skier is in critical condition in hospital after what police are calling a "misadventure" in the area of Hollyburn Ridge on West Vancouver's Cypress Mountain.
According to West Vancouver police, a man in his mid-twenties fell over a 10-foot embankment, crashing into rocks and mud below.
Witnesses performed CPR for 45 minutes before rescue crews arrived.
The man was eventually extricated from the scene by helicopter and transferred to a waiting ambulance.
He remains in critical condition in hospital.
Police have released no further details.
