B.C. 'eco-terrorism' suspect surrenders in Washington

A Canadian woman who has been a fugitive from U.S. justice for 10 years surrendered today to authorities in Washington.
The FBI believed Rebecca Rubin was hiding out in Vancouver and Nelson, B.C. (FBI)Rebecca Rubin was wanted on arson, destructive device and conspiracy charges connected with the 1998 firebombing of a Colorado ski resort and two other fire attacks.
American officials have called the ski resort attack "the largest eco-terrorism case in United States history."
They allege Rubin was a member of the Earth Liberation Front and the Animal Liberation Front.
In 2008, the FBI offered a $50,000 reward for tips leading to her capture. They said at the time that they believed she was living in British Columbia.
