A 70-year-old man is dead after a crash on Highway 16 in McBride, B.C.
Police say the man was heading west on Highway 16 at South Frontage Road when he made a left turn into the path of an oncoming car.
The man, whose name has not been released, was taken to hospital where he later died.
The three people in the other car all escaped without injury.
Police say weather conditions don’t appear to be a factor in the collision. The cause of the crash has not been established.
The Prince George Regional Provincial Traffic Services are investigating, with the assistance of the McBride RCMP detachment and the B.C. Coroners Service.
