Like most Vancouver cyclists, Al Roback is no stranger to riding in wet weather — but rain or shine, almost no one rides a bike quite like his.

The wheels, brakes, seat are the usual metal and rubber.

But its frame is made of bamboo.

And bike builder Roback is willing to make one for you, too.
