Vancouver family homeless after laundry blaze

The Vancouver family home has been deemed uninhabitable. (CBC)A Vancouver family of five have been left homeless after a fire in their laundry room destroyed their home early Wednesday morning.
Firefighters were called to the blaze on the 2400 block of Adanac Street at around 12:40 a.m. PT and found a family home engulfed in flames.
No one was injured, but there was substantial fire and smoke damage to most of the home, which has been deemed uninhabitable.
It is thought the fire was accidental, starting in the laundry room at the back of the home after a problem with a clothes dryer.
Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services are urging residents to ensure clothes dryers are properly vented and lint screens are cleaned after every load of laundry.
