Firefighters spent hours battling the blaze at 83rd Avenue and Scott Road. The fire rapidly spread through the building, devastating several businesses, including restaurants and a gym.

Jill Kristoffersen, a regular at Tom's Sewing, another of the businesses destroyed, said she was devastated.

"This is awful, because you know, we consider this home. We just love the store, and this is going to be really bad for Tom and his family," she said.

The cause of the blaze is still being investigated. No one was injured in the fire.
