CP freight train derails near Golden, B.C.

Twenty-five Canadian Pacific Railway cars came off the tracks 16 kilometres west of Golden on Tuesday morning.
Kevin Hrysak, a spokesman for CP, said the cars full of grain were part of an 111-car train headed to Vancouver.
"There are no injuries involved to the crew from the incident, no environment concerns or risk to the surrounding public," Hrysak said.
He said that there were no regulated commodities — hazardous substances or fuel — on the train.
One engineer and one conductor were on board.
Hrysak said a full investigation will be conducted to find the cause of the mishap.
A derailment involving 26 cars happened in the same area in March of 2010, spilling 11,000 litres of diesel fuel.
The Transportation Safety Board said that cellphone and marijuana use by CP Rail locomotive engineers may have contributed to that crash.
