Missing B.C. senior found dead

An 81-year-old man missing for four days has been found dead, after his vehicle apparently veered off the road on north Vancouver Island.
William Fisher's body was discovered on Tuesday when a passing motorist spotted Fisher's white Chrysler sedan down the side of an embankment along Highway 30, near Marble River.
Fisher was last seen on Thursday morning buying gas at Sayward Junction on Highway 19, on his way home to Port Hardy from an appointment at Campbell River Hospital.
Port Hardy RCMP say it is not clear why Fisher travelled off his original route or what could have caused his vehicle to leave the road. Coroners are working to establish a cause of death.
