Seniors' drug operation busted in Prince George

For the second time in a week RCMP in Prince George, B.C., have busted a pair of senior citizens on drug trafficking charges.
Cpl. Ken McNeill said the two seniors, aged 79 and 75, were busted in what appeared to be a typical drug house.
"People were still showing up at the house while we were doing a search warrant. We had people calling telephones while we were there, ordering drugs," said McNeill.
It's the second time in less than a week that a pair of seniors have been arrested for trafficking prescription drugs. Last week, an 81-year old and a 75 year old were charged with the same crime.
But McNeill says the trend isn't about seniors — but what the seniors are selling.
"Prescription drug trafficking is a major problem. There is a market out there for IV drug users looking for what they consider a safer option."
