Protesters disrupt Vancouver mayoral debate

Occupy Vancouver protesters and an excluded candidate disrupted a mayoral candidates' debate campaign Tuesday night.
Protestors shouted at Vision Vancouver candidate Gregor Robertson as he attempted to answer a question about the city's image around the Stanley Cup riot and the Occupy Vancouver tent city.
Robertson and NPA mayoral hopeful Suzanne Anton addressed how they would end the protest being staged in front of the Art Gallery.
Robertson said he wants a peaceful ending, while Anton blamed the mayor for allowing the camp to be set up in the first place.
Some in the crowd also interrupted Anton as she attempted to make a statement.
Another mayoral candidate, Darrell Zimmerman, then clambered on stage demanding to be heard, at which point Anton left the platform.
Zimmerman said he is a legitimate candidate and should have the same say as the other two.
The debate sponsors, The Vancouver Board of Trade, had not invited Zimmerman to take part.
He was removed from the stage by security officers and escorted out of the building.
Provincewide municipal elections are being held Nov. 19.
