Rogers Arena to open for Canucks road games

The Vancouver Canucks will open up Rogers Arena for fans to watch road games on the giant screens during the upcoming Stanley Cup final, the team has confirmed.
"It is our intention to open Rogers Arena to our fans for Stanley Cup final viewing parties during road games," team spokeswoman Jen Rollins said on Wednesday morning.
But it is not yet clear which nights the games will be held, what seats will cost, and how much fans will be willing to shell out for a seat to watch the game on the arena's large screens.
"Many details are being worked out at this time as we await a schedule for the series and other elements that relate to events at Rogers Arena. Further details will be announced at the appropriate time," said Rollins.
During the semifinal round against the San Jose sharks, which wrapped up with a Canucks win in double-overtime on Tuesday night, thousands of fans gathered outside the nearby CBC building to watch both home and away games for free.
Thousands more partied on Granville Street after the team's victory on Tuesday night, leading many to compare the mood in the city to the ongoing street party during the 2010 Olympics.
Vancouver will play either Boston or Tampa Bay in the final round, depending on the outcome of the Eastern Conference series.
