The charges were laid in 2009 after police found four loaded handguns while searching Bacon's SUV in 2007, after rivals tried to shoot him in the driveway of his parent's Abbotsford home.
Bacon was given credit for three years and four months for time already served, meaning he will serve another three years and eight months under the sentence. But he is also facing one count of first-degree murder in connection to the slayings of six people in a Surrey condo in 2007.
Bacon's older brother Jarrod was also charged after police found the cache of weapons inside a secret compartment inside the SUV, but was acquitted on all charges in May.
But Jarrod Bacon also remains in custody awaiting drug charges stemming from a police sting operation in November of 2009.
A third older brother, Jonathon Bacon, is also awaiting trial on drug and weapons charges.
