BC Hydro is reporting another power outage in Vancouver cut power to more than 10,000 customers around 11:30 a.m. PT on Tuesday morning.

The outage affected customers between Granville Street and Cambie Street and Broadway and West 33rd Avenue for about 30 minutes before it was restored.

The outage is the fourth major power failure in the area since Saturday evening when about 60,000 customers lost power for several hours.

BC Hydro has blamed problems at an electrical substation for the previous outages, but has not said what might have caused the most recent outage.
