(RCMP)Police have released surveillance footage of two men who allegedly robbed a Richmond, B.C., art store at gunpoint and stole a painting believed to date back to the Ming Dynasty.

The painting was stolen on Sunday afternoon from Chinese Painting, a store in Yaohan Centre on No. 3 Road.

Police allege one of the men pulled out a handgun, and the men walked away with a painting believed to date back to the Ming Dynasty, which lasted from 1368 to 1644.

Police said at the time it wasn't clear whether the painting was an original, but its estimated value was $150,000.

Two Buddha statues of unknown value and a piece of Chinese calligraphic art valued at $50,000 were also stolen.

Police believe the suspects drove away in this van. Police believe the suspects drove away in this van. (RCMP)The suspects are both described as Caucasian males about five feet nine inches tall. Both were wearing sunglasses, baseball hats and yellow security jackets.

Police have also released a description of a vehicle believed to have been involved. It is described as a newer model light-coloured van, either a Honda Odyssey or Dodge Caravan.

Investigators believe the van was driven by a third person, who likely drove the suspects to and from the mall.
