Ming Dynasty painting stolen in B.C. robbery

Police say this painting was stolen in an armed robbery at a Richmond, B.C., mall on Saturday. (RCMP)A painting believed to date back to the Ming Dynasty was stolen from a Richmond, B.C., mall by two armed robbers on Saturday afternoon.
Police said the two men walked into Chinese Painting, a store in Yaohan Centre on No. 3 Road, at about 12:30 p.m. PT.
One of the men pulled out a handgun and they walked away with the valuable painting believed to be from the Ming Dynasty, which lasted from 1368 to 1644.
Police said it's not clear whether the painting is an original, but it is valued at approximately $150,000.
The men also took two Buddha statues of unknown value and a piece of Chinese calligraphy art valued at about $50,000.
The suspects are described as Caucasian men of average height. They were wearing sunglasses, baseball caps and yellow security jackets.
