Police say they seized 18,000 plants in 20 greenhouses at a rural property in the Eaglet Lake area, east of Prince George, on Friday.

Police estimate the street value of the marijuana to be approximately $2.2 million.

They say the property was being used solely to produce marijuana, and the plants were in various stages of growth, supported by two industrial-sized heaters and two power generators.

A 37-year-old Vancouver man was arrested, along with a 41-year-old man and a 29-year-old man who are both from Quebec.

The three men remain in police custody. Charges have not yet been laid.
