Brittney Irving, 24, has not been since since April 6. (RCMP) B.C. RCMP are concerned about the unexplained disappearance of a Kelowna woman after her empty truck was found on a remote highway pullout.
Brittney Lee Irving, 24, was last seen on Tuesday at 1 p.m. PT at a motel in the 2600 block of Harvey Avenue, police said in a statement issued Thursday.
She told a family member that she was going to an address somewhere in the Rutland area of the southern Interior city to meet someone. Irving has not been seen since, and was reporting missing the next morning.
Her blue Ford Explorer SUV was later found around 7 p.m. at a pullout near Philpott Road, along Highway 33, several kilometres east of town.
She is described by police as Caucasian with a tanned complexion and freckles, long brown hair, blue eyes. She's 5-6 and weighs 126 pounds.
She was last seen wearing tight-fitting pants and runners. She often wears designer prescription glasses that feature three holes in each arm.
Police did not release any information about why she may have disappeared, but are asking anyone with information to call the West Kelowna RCMP at 250-768-2880, or Crime Stoppers.
